Veterinary nurses

Laura qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2012 after studying at Easton College in Norfolk. She has a particular interest in cats and owns one cat who she rescued. She enjoys all aspects of her job and is always happy to help our clients with any queries they may have. Since September 2018 Laura has been our practice manager and is enjoying her new role.

Hollie qualified from Harper Adams University College, Shropshire in 2012 and joined the Arbury Road Vets nursing team in November 2021. Hollie enjoys all aspects of veterinary nursing, especially weight clinics and gained her Certificate of Veterinary Nursing in Emergency and Critical Care in 2018.

At home Hollie enjoys baking, spending time with her family, friends, and her dogs Dotty & Trinny.

Simone recently qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in early 2022 from Anglia Ruskin University and has been working in practice since 2016. Simone enjoys all aspects of veterinary nursing and has an interest in feline care.

At home Simone has three cats, Benjamin Charles, Delilah and Theodore Marcel.

Sally has been in practice since August 2017 and qualified as a Registered Veterinary nurse in 2019. Her favourite aspects of nursing are caring for hospitalised patients and nurse consults. She has a particular interest in small furries (e.g. rats, guinea pigs and hamsters).

Sally has chickens, budgies guinea pigs and a cat called Pippa who she adopted from the Cats Protection.

Kristy qualified as a registered nurse in 2014 and joined Arbury road nursing team in April 2022. During her career she has worked in Australia where she worked with a wide range of species. Kristy enjoys all aspects of nursing and has a passion for teaching having previously worked as a veterinary nurse lecturer.

At home Kristy has three cats; a rescue called Lockie and a Siamese called Kimchi and Miso.

Lucie joined the team in 2021. She enjoys all aspects nursing but particularly enjoys the behavioural side of animals and would like to specialise in this area one day.

Her dream is to travel to South Africa to volunteer within conservations and see the animals in their natural habitat. She particularly loves big cats.

Clare started with us in January 2020, she studied animal care in college, has worked with animals most of her working life and has owned a multitude of different animals.
